Dead tree stumps: Old, rotting wood can welcome termites to your home, so clearing dead tree stumps can keep the termites away.

Mulch: Applying it correctly next to your home which is a food source and moisture for termites, so do try to use it in moderate amounts and in a little distance from your home bases.

Branches: If those overhanging limbs touch your house or roof, they can provide a direct route for termites into your home. Trim any limbs that come in contact with the house.
